    S-48 Expansion Joint Sealant

S-48 is a two-part component system consisting of a base compound and an accelerator. When mixed together, S-48 forms a pourable joint sealant. The base compound is a combination of liquid epoxy resins, pigments and inert filler. The accelerator, when added to the base compound will cure the epoxy resins at room temperatures between 40 and 90 degrees F. The cured compound has excellent impact resis¬tance and adhesion to steel, aluminum, glass, ceramics, con¬crete and wood. S-48 is resistant to attack by mild acids, alkalis, corrosive salts, alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. S-48 is a Shore D hardness material designed for high load stress, flex, and chemical resistance with low elongation. S-48 is recommended for use in joints greater than 1/4" wide; in narrower joints, it may be difficult to control during pour. This product is suitable for use in food production facilities. S-48 is used in metal treatment facilities, sanitary waste, laboratories, dairies, beverage production, breweries, chocolates production, meat processing facilities, and packaged meals processing facilities.

    S-46 Polyurea Expansion Joint Sealant

S-46 is a two-part Polyurea joint filler system consisting of a base compound and an activator. When mixed together, S-46 forms a rapid curing self leveling joint sealant. S-46 is designed for 10-15% movement of an installed joint width. The cured compound has excellent impact resistance and adhesion to steel, aluminum, glass, and ceramics, concrete and wood. It is highly recommended that concrete be cured for a minimum of 28 days prior to installing joint filler. S-46 is resistant to attack by mild acids, alkalis, corrosive salts, alcohols and aliphatic hydrocarbons. S-46 has a higher elongation with greater flexibility and a softer composition. S-46 meets and exceeds the Shore A requirements according to ASTM D2240.

    S-600 Setting & Grouting Epoxy

S-600 is a three part 100% solid epoxy compound for setting and grouting of floor brick, quarry tile, porcelain, pavers and ceramic mosaics. It is designed to resist attacks by many acids, alkalis and other chemical compounds that normally break down concrete mortars and grouts. S-600 has been designed to be mixed with any of the colors of S-700 and S-710 sanded grout or S-667 un-sanded grout. Since S-600 changes the base color, please check color samples to insure desired color results. S-600 is recommended for use in commercial and residential kitchens, chemical laboratories, breweries, dairies, food processing plants, etc. where high exposure levels of organic acids are not present. S-600 is sag resistant and should be specified for setting or grouting ceramic tile on any wall or floor installations. S-600 not only has exceptional bond strength (greater than 1000 P.S.I.) but it will remain rigid and cohesive at temperatures up to 350°F.

S-4000 Furan Chemical Resistant Mortar & Grout

S-4000 Furan mortar and grout is a two-part system (liquid resin and powder catalyst) for use where chemical resistance is important. When prop¬erly cured, S-4000 is resistant to most non-oxidizing acids, alkalis, solvents, oils, greases, salts, detergents and steam clean¬ing up to 350°F. The use of S-4000 as a grout requires a waxed tile/brick surface and appropriate installation skills as S-4000 cannot be water washed off the surface during initial cleanup. S-4000 Furan meets or exceeds ANSI A118.5 specifications. S-4002 B powder/catalyst is 100% carbon filled for optimum chem¬ical resistance. S-4000 can be used to set and grout tile or brick using either the Tile Setter's method or the Bricklayer's method. S-4000 mortar and grout is recommended for use in bakeries, brew¬eries, bottling plants, dairies, distilleries, canneries, chemical plants, commercial kitchens, electroplating plants, food processing plants and meat packing plants.

S-5400 Vinyl Ester Mortar & Grout

S-5400 is a two part highly chemical resistant vinyl ester mortar and grout that meets or exceeds industry requirements. S-5400 is for setting and grouting of floor brick, quarry tile, pavers, fully vitrified brick, porcelain tile and ceramic mosaics. S-5400 is designed to be used in many applications requiring vinyl ester chemical resistance including CIP rooms. S-5400 is recommended for use in distilleries, refineries, chemical laboratories, breweries, dairies, food processing plants, etc. S-5400 is sag resistant and should be specified for setting or grouting ceramic tile on any wall or floor installations. S-5400 not only has exceptional bond strength (greater than 1000 P.S.I.), but it will remain rigid and cohesive at constant temperatures up to 250 F.
